Boiled Chicken and Personal Trainers

Your members want to know that you don’t eat boiled chicken and spinach for every meal.

That you actually eat food that tastes good (hopefully you do). Maybe, even let go and have a drink every once in a while (I do).

Show a little of your human side in your emails. It is a great way to spark conversation and build a relationship.

Here is an email where I gave a small sneak peek into my weekend and how I learned about a new healthy snack they could try.



Subject: My Favorite New Snack 

Vanessa and I had friends in town this weekend.

My friend owns a gym in Chicago and is a competitive fitness model.

Spending the weekend with him was educational to say the least.

I thought I knew a decent amount about nutrition but this guy is on an different level.

I came out of the weekend a lot smarter and very grateful to have this guy as a friend.

The one thing I noticed was how innovative and creative he was in the kitchen.

When you eat full meals every 3 hours you need things to taste great.

The kicker was when he brought out the grilled avocados.

He salted them up and grilled them on high heat for 5 minutes on each side.

They were the hit of the weekend.

Give this a try next time you grill, it’s awesome!

Oh and one more thing!

I don’t drink alcohol often but when I do I love Bourbon.

I was avoiding it because I thought it had Gluten, I was wrong.

No Gluten in Bourbon!

We had a great weekend.
