This is the story of how a Philadelphia gym owner got 20 new clients in 3 weeks.
This past Thursday I presented to the gym owners enrolled in my 6 Week New Client Surge Program about building a referral machine.
While on the call, one of the guys that literally jumped into the program the day before it started told the group he generated 20 new clients from one strategy he learned in the program.
The strategy that I gave him was pretty simple:
Hand out a free one month membership to all his members to give as a gift for the holidays.
The best time to do this is between Thanksgiving and the second week of December as that’s when people are giving out gifts.
The strategy is not the point here.
The point is this gym owner, that happens to be a Philly guy so he gets a few extra points in my book, just did what I said.
Many other people got this same tactic and asked questions like:
“Won’t I get tire kickers because it’s free?
“What if my clients want to use it for themselves?”
“Can they give it to someone that has already been here?”
They asked so many questions and had so much fear and doubt they failed to simply take action and follow a method that has worked for my gym and my Mastermind members for 10 years.
It’s good to ask questions and think about stuff, but many times you need to be like a guy from Philly and just go do it.
The end result may be 20 new clients in 3 weeks.
