How to Plan for 2019

This Friday, I am preparing a lesson for my Mastermind members to help them map out their best year ever in 2019.

Lots of people spend time writing out goals and what they want to accomplish in the month of December but very few actually take the time review the previous.

That will be a big part of what I present to these guys.  How did last year go?

There are two very important components to reviewing your past year.

1. What went right and what did you learn?

2. What went wrong and what did you learn?

It’s natural to look at what went wrong and want to improve on that.

It’s not as common to take what went great and then reflect and build on it.

One thing I learned from Ari Weinzweig was to create a list proud before you write down what you want to accomplish.

The proud list builds a base of positive energy and highquality experiences in which you can build upon when planning out your year.

A few examples of things that could go on the list: best revenue year ever, I finally got to take the kids to school regularly, was able to build a cash cushion.

The other thing to reflect on is why these great things happened

This past year was the best year in my marriage (we’ve been married 11 years).

It’s in my best interest to reflect on why this happened and by all means, repeat it!

Reflecting on your accomplishments allows you build on the momentum they created.

So, the action step is to be sure youre doing some kind of planning for the upcoming year and to include reflection on the past year, specifically the great things that happened

Too many times on this journey as a gym owner you only look at the huge mountain you still have to climb, take a look back and see how far you’ve come once in a while, it will help you to keep moving up.

2. Get on the early bird list for my Spring 2019 Mentorship.

Join me and my team at my gym in New Jersey for 2 days and get a fire lit under you. This seminar has been the launching pad for many gym owners build the gym of their dreams.
