Before we start, let me tell you what I am not.
I am not a salesman selling you a specific 6-week challenge to deploy into your gym.
Relying on one method is not a recipe for long term success.
I use the 6-week challenge as one of the many tools in the tool box to have a successful gym.
Currently, at my facility we are smack dab in the middle of our Fall 6-week challenge.
We had 33 non-members join at $297. We also have about 90 current members doing it at $99.
Many of my Mastermind members are doing it right now too. Several are having similar success.
We have run some form of a 6-week challenge for a decade. Some people avoid them like the plague, others do them so much they stop working and have no clue what to do next.
There is a careful balance on how many of these things to run. It’s something I go over in detail in my new course.
For now, they are very viable way to get new members.
People want and many times need a start date and an end date to jumpstart their health.
The 6-week challenge is something that gets them to make a decision.
The rest is up to you to convince them your gym is the place that will transform their life for the long haul.
If you are trying to win in business with money you make on the front end of a challenge, you have lost sight of a very important number in your business. This is a lifetime customer value.
The real money in 6-week challenges are made from converting the participates into long term members.
Last year, between the entry fee, the back-end sales and from the full value of the annual memberships they purchased, the value of the challenge was $101,439.
With that said, they have a tendency to lose their luster. It’s very important you do these at the right time and in the right quantity.
