On Friday, they’ll be 50+ gym owners from around the world coming to New Jersey. 

I typically get nothing done this week other than preparing for the event…I’m surprised I got around to even writing this email.

Since I need to get back to preparing this will be quick. 

There’s a small handful of awards I give out at each meeting. 

One of the awards is called the Temple Tuff award…named after the college football team I played for back in the ’90s. 

It goes to the gym owner that showed the most resilience since the last meeting. 

I look at resilience as a key ingredient for success as a business owner. 

It’s not always going to go the way you want…lots of things are out of your control.

What’s not out of your control is how you respond.

The gym owner that gets this award typically has gotten punched in the throat…by life or business…but has kept their cool, stayed calm, and continued forward. 

It’s something we talk about at almost every Mastermind call.

Your level of resilience is directly linked to your ability to control your emotions. 

While another marketing lesson is sometimes needed…

…these are the kinds of lessons people tell me why they stay in this group…many for half a decade…when the normal length of stay in a mastermind is less than a year.

You’ll get tired of the ‘done for you’ email of the month to send to your list. 

You won’t get tired of becoming a stronger, better, and more successful gym owner and person.
