My Definitive Answer, Should Prices be on Your Website?

In the final Module of the 6 week New Client Surge,  I’m talking all about how to pick the right price for your business and how to maximize the profitability for your gym.

One of the concepts I will be diving deep into is how to present your prices.

Because there seems to be lots of confusion on when/where to do this. Many just slap their prices on their website and hope for the best. Big mistake.

Here’s why, on a website, even a great one, it’s tough to be able to show enough value to justify the prices I know many of you are charging.

You want to move them from the on-line to off-line, where we can move them down the road in the sales process.

We are NOT e-commerce businesses selling low price products where people make impulse decisions.

We are service businesses where our number one asset is getting people in the door.

Usually when someone sees a price and says it’s too expensive, it’s simply because they have not been able to match the value to that price.

I have had many people sit down with me in a consult, say their friend told them the price and that they never could afford it but then sign a 12-month contract 30 days later.

What happened?

They experienced the value.

The value they got after the 30 days was higher than the price so they found a way to make it happen.

This never happens on a website.

The goal is to give them enough info and testimonials to get them to contact you so they can experience the value.

The most lethal sales process to get people to experience extreme value I have seen in this is business to build long term relationships is:

  1. Website/Ad/Referral driving to text message
  1. Text message driving to phone call
  1. Phone call to set up consultation
  1. Consultation to set up trial
  1. Trial of some sort to set up long term membership
  1. Long term membership

Hope this helps
