Why I Gladly Pay $30 for This Sandwich

Today I am in Ann Arbor, Michigan, gearing up for one of our SPF Mastermind meetings.  
 
Part of day 1 will take place at the world-famous Roadhouse restaurant. This is owned by the amazing company, Zingerman’s.   
Zingerman’s started like my business and yours. They started as a small shop but has grown into a 70-million-dollar business.  

The owner, Ari, is a friend of mine and he will be doing the keynote for us at the Mastermind.  
 
So, back to that sandwich.   
 

When I came to Zingerman’s a few years back I was more than excited to get one of their famous corned beef sandwiches.   
 
On the ride from the airport I ordered one to be delivered to my hotel.   
 
The sandwich was about $20. After delivery and tip it was north of $30.  
 
Where I live in NJ, a much higher demographic, the best corned beef sandwich won’t cost you more than $10.  

What makes this deli in Michigan able to charge so much money?   

The answer is a concept called Price Elasticity 
 

This is a concept you must know to be able to charge more money for what you do.   

Every gym is always looking to add more clients to make more money. Most of them never look at activating the money they’re sitting on.   

You want more clients to be able to make more money.   

What if you didn’t need to add more members to make more money?
